SharePoint issues we can make use of the SharePoint Unified Logging System or in short: ULS logs.

Default Location ULS log:

SPS2007 – C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\LOGS

SPS2010 – C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

SPS2013 – C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

SharePoint 2010 introduced some new features with regards to trace logs like Correlation ID’s,

One of the end-user reported today, they are getting plain-text in Announcement, Pages and Webpart. In detail, they need bold, underline, color text to be use for highlight the contents.

We tried to access in Chrome and Firefox, which results as plain text for publish. On checking in Internet Explorer, the feature works well and Rich Text editor is visible(like Bold, Italic, Underline).

So we recommend user to use IE7+ version for editing the text purpose.

I suspect all the Browsers are developed on the perspective of look and feel, easy manipulation. They are not considering the SharePoint features.
